Special Fire Extinguishers

What are they?
They are the chrome version of  the Foam, water and CO2  fire extinguishers, details of which can be found under their respective headings.  Although the contents are the same as the ‘red’ versions, they cannot claim to be manufactured in accordance with BS EN3 kitemark because the main carcase is not red. . Nevertheless they are sold in hundreds of thousands all over the UK, which is not surprising, because they are so attractive to look at..  It is interesting to note that they are manufactured from high quality stainless steel  and then polished beautifully.

What are they suitable for?
They have designer appeal  and are frequently used in reception areas in offices and hotels.  They are also corrosion resistant and because of this are ideal for swimming-pools, spas and marine locations.   They will not rust or corrode and will last longer than the standard models thus saving you money.

What do they look like?
Amazing!   The foam, powder and water extinguishers are not made of chrome but of highly polished stainless steel and the CO2 is made of aluminium.  Why not buy a chrome stand to complete the designer look!

How about fixing?
Each fire extinguisher is boxed and supplied with a wall mounting bracket but we can also supply coloured or chrome extinguisher stands   An extinguisher sign should be fitted above all  fire extinguishers.

Think Safety!
Staff training on how to use fire fighting equipment is recommended.  Also to comply with current fire regulations and a must in respect of insurance claims, all extinguishers must be serviced once a year.
