What are they? They are brand new, high quality, dry powder fire extinguishers that have the genuine full BSi kitemark to BS EN3. They also have BAFE certification and CE Mark (legal requirement under Pressure Equipment Directive– PED) and our prices are more competitive than most traditional suppliers.
What are they suitable for? They are suitable for virtually all fire risks as they cover Class A fires (wood, paper, [B1] material, cloth etc) and Class B (flammable liquids such as petrol, spirits, diesel) and Class C (flammable gas). They are also safe for use on electrical equipment. Of course, powder creates a dust cloud but it is not messy and its fire-fighting ability is unbeatable.Caution should be used where visibility is important.
What do they look like? Powder extinguishers are easy to identify as they are painted red with a blue area at the top of the label. There is also a polished stainless steel version that look really good in a ‘posh’ setting.
Are there any guarantees? Yes, 5 Year Manufacturer Warranty 100% Customer satisfaction or money back guarantee.
How about fixing? Each fire extinguisher is boxed and supplied with a wall mounting bracket but we can also supply coloured or chrome extinguisher stands. An extinguisher sign should be fitted above the powder extinguisher.
Think Safety! Staff training on how to use fire fighting equipment is recommended. Also to comply with current fire regulations and a must in respect of insurance claims. All extinguishers must be serviced once a year.
